Spirited is an upcoming American Christmas-themed musical comedy film directed by Sean Anders, written and co-produced by Anders and John Morris, and choreographed by Chloé Arnold with associate choreographers Ava Bernstine and Martha Nichols. Starring Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds, and Octavia Spencer, featuring 90 amazing dancers and the Syncopated Ladies, the film is a modern retelling of Charles Dickens' 1843 novella A Christmas Carol. Each Christmas Eve, the Ghost of Christmas Present selects one dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits. But this season, he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself reexamining his own past, present and future. For the first time, "A Christmas Carol" is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale.
