Thank you, Octavia Spencer and Sean Anders!

I'm still pinching myself! I’m choreographing a movie y’all! So thankful for this life I’m living. ❤️🙏 Octavia Spencer is not only an amazing Academy Award winning actress with so many incredible films, but more importantly she’s a phenomenal human being. Oh - and she can DANCE! I just love her so much! This journey is an honor, we’re doing something so special and meaningful! I’ve dreamed of this my whole life. I couldn’t be more thankful to Sean and John for this life changing, and life elevating experience! Our whole team is sheer magic!!! ❤️❤️ Thank you Sean for believing and opening this magnificent door for us all! You’re such a wonderful human and leader! Couldn’t do this without my Sync Lady sistas, my associate choreographers Ava and Martha, and our super gifted dancers!

Here's Octavia's original caption from her IG post:

About last night…. That guy in the middle seems to glisten in the light. Here’s why: if you saw Instant Family, you now know that the movie was based on his life story. He’s a good man and an even better writer director. If you’ve seen the Daddy’s Home films with Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, and John Cena, then, you’re already fans. But after you see this project we start filming next week you’ll understand the other facets of his magic. Oh, and I’d become a huge fan of Chloe Arnold and her Syncopated Ladies long before the production, only to find that she was choreographing it. Yep, Sean and the Universe aligning our paths. Our smiles are so wide here because what you don’t see in this picture is the department heads on our film surrounded by their families. We’re all tested and mostly vaccinated but grateful to be out socially. For many of us it’s our first time out maskless since March 2020. Not gonna lie, I was a little anxious but it was so damn fun being normal that I forgot to be afraid. So, go into this upcoming holiday week with joy and grace and I promise you they will be the guiding force.
