ABOUT CHLOÉ AND MAUD
Chloé and Maud are a sister dancing, choreographing, and producing duo. Both Internationally recognized tap dancers and graduates of Columbia University in Film, EMMY AWARD NOMINATED Chloé, and her sister Maud Arnold are creating opportunities to elevate and celebrate the Art of Tap Dancing through Film, TV, and live events.
Their work has taken them worldwide, to over 30 countries. Chloé's choreography was recently featured in Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted on Netflix, Apple TV+ musical film Spirited starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer, as well as over 70 episodes of The Late Late Show with James Corden. Maud's choreography was featured in Hulu's hit Theater Camp starring Ben Platt, A24's Y2K, and the hit comedy Freaky Tales.
Chloé, along with the support of Maud, founded Syncopated Ladies, a Female Tap Dance Band widely known for their viral videos. With Chloé and Maud paving the way and carving out Syncopated Ladies’ own place in the industry, they have garnished over 200 MILLION VIEWS online from their music videos to appearances on The Talk, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Ellen, Good Morning America, CNN's New Year's Eve, Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas to All, Bel Air, and So You Think You Can Dance. They have received praise from Beyoncé, Whoopi Goldberg on The View, Shonda Rhimes, Janet Jackson, as well as many other celebrities and news outlets around the world.
Chloé and Maud are also the co-directors and producers of the critically acclaimed DC Tap Festival for the past 18 years and the Hollywood Tap Festival held at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Recognized by the US House of Representatives as arts preservers and ambassadors, The Kennedy's Centers NEXT50 Leaders and in 2018 won the 33rd Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards for Excellence in Performing Arts. Chloé and Maud’s online programs are designed to feel personal, inspiring, and truly transformative—not just another virtual class. Students learn directly from internationally recognized artists who bring real professional experience from film, television, and global stages, while receiving individualized feedback, mentorship, and a thoughtfully structured curriculum that supports both artistic growth and confidence. The cost reflects the high level of care, preparation, and quality production that goes into creating a meaningful experience, while also helping us provide scholarships and expand access so more young artists can benefit from this work.
Our 5-week program offers a blend of pre-recorded and Live (via Zoom) class opportunities, as well as weekly Live Discussions with Chloé and Maud. All live classes will be recorded, and registrants will have access to course content for 3 months after the program is complete.
No worries, things happen!! If you can't join us Live on Zoom, you can stay engaged with class recordings (which will become available in your course portal within 24 hours of class completion.) Also, students will have access to ALL course content for four months after course completion!
Yes! Join us at www.chloeandmaud.com/link on your computer, phone, or tablet. All you have to do is press play!
While tap shoes and a wood floor/portable tap floor would be great to use if you have them, they are not necessary to take class at Chloé and Maud Studios Online. You can join our classes in whatever space you have, with whatever shoes you have.
Yes! Our program curriculum will offer multiple opportunities for live, direct feedback from Chloé and Maud, as well as written adjudications.
No. Participating in Chloé and Maud Studios Online does not give any student permission or qualification to teach Chloé and Maud's choreography in any context.
